Looking for a career at a company that seeks to be Earth’s most customer-centric company? If so, meet Amazon.

Over the past 20 years, Amazon has reinvented on behalf of the consumer and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world with over $100 billion in revenue globally. Businesses buy more than $1 trillion of everything from staples to DNA sequencers in the US alone. Launched in 2015, Amazon Business aims to reinvent the complicated world of workplace procurement and do for offices, hospitals, schools, and government agencies what Amazon.com did for home shoppers—make buying easier, faster, and smarter. Amazon is reinventing on behalf of the business customer and focused on building the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world, and we are recruiting to make this vision a reality within the Amazon Business Payments (ABP) Organization, to make the customer’s procure-to-pay experience delightful.

    The Role
ABP is looking for a UX/UI Designer who will help create product experiences for customers that not only feel good, but also look good. As part of the Amazon Business Payments team, you will act as the single threaded UX leader for credit payment products and will handle projects from A (concept) to Z (shipping and iteration) with little directions. You have a mastery of fundamental visual and interaction design disciplines and principals and have an exceptional eye for pixel-perfect detail. You will be working with the team of product managers and engineers to create, deliver, and test the right experience for a given credit payment product.

You will raise the bar on the user experience delivered by our payment products by continuously obsessing over the customer’s needs and innovating on behalf of our customers. You will focus on the customer lifecycle starting from acquisition till product usage and optimize the payment experience at each customer interaction. You will partner with our marketing, product management, global engineering, operational investigations and Finance teams to collaborate and deliver payment experiences including:

. Contributing to the development and enhancement of credit products and features.
. Owning the full design experience - from visual assets to interactions - for this specific product.
. Working with the Amazon Business and Payment teams to simplify the user experience flows for our customers while creating best-in-class visuals/UI.
. Develop A/B tests to disconfirm beliefs about existing payment experiences.
. Defining, tracking, reviewing and reporting of key metrics to monitor health & performance of the payment user experience.
. Embrace best practices from internal teams and industry to continuously invent on behalf of our customers.

    Basic Qualifications

. An available portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative problem solving.
. Minimum of 4 years of experience as visual designer, UI designer, graphic designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar UX-related role for the web
. Fluency in best practices for visual and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of typography, color, motion, and branding.
. Experience creating prototypes and highly detailed wireframes for complex user flows in web applications, as well as the propensity for creating stunning visual elements.
. Fluency with user interface patterns for desktop and mobile experiences.
. Experience working in a tight design cycle and collaborating with the development team for design implementation.
. 2+ years of experience in payment products, digital marketing or similar field.
. Hands-on experience developing and driving programs or projects with aggressive schedules.

    Preferred Qualifications

. Experience building web-based products with ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS.

. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization.
