    We're looking for an outstanding test engineer; someone capable of integrating mechanical, electrical, and software systems together to help test our products and ensure they exceed our customer’s expectations.     Export Control License
    This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

    Basic Qualifications

    • B.S. in an engineering or related field
    • 3+ years’ work experience in Energy Storage, Power Electronics, Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Medical field or combination thereof
    • Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, MATLAB or C/C++
    • Experience in testing and development of electrochemical energy storage systems, such as batteries
    • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced Engineering or Science degree (MS, PhD)
    • Experience with testing of energy storage systems as well as developing methodologies for data analysis and electrochemical characterization
    • Experience in engineering documentation (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, requirements documentation, interface control)
    • Knowledge of engineering test best practices and experience with validation and verification of custom hardware products.
    • Solidworks or CATIA experience
    • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or C/C++
