    Position Overview

    Receiving Associates within the Print Operation are individuals that is consistently raising the bar. This individual is a problem solver that over indexes on ownership, customer obsession, insist on the highest standard and deliver results. Successful candidates are familiar with printing equipment and are able to meet all quality & productivity goals. They’ll demonstrate a working knowledge of the standard operating procedures, quality standards and processes throughout their segment of the operation. When utilized to support the pull throughout the operation they will be accountable for eradicating waste and maintaining the production flow in a Lean environment.

    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Initial associate resource for questions and concerns
    • Understand and utilize Standard Operating Procedure Documents
    • Provide Area Manager with information regarding associate job performance
    • Perform finished goods quality inspection, maintain accurate records and communicate results as needed
    • Provide associates with constant feedback on safety, quality and productivity
    • Observe and coach behaviors and work practices
    • Build and execute a daily labor plan and communicate deviations
    • Solicit and deliver cross department communication
    • Provide detailed shift to shift communication
    • Identify and execute contingency plans to include proper notification and communication
    • Coordinate and ensure department acclimation for all associates
    • Discerning eye for safety, quality, and productivity improvements

    Basic Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Computer experience - Excel, Word, MS Office, scheduling meetings, email
    • Ability to work shifts as needed
    • Ability to stand for 10 or more hours per day
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs and push utility carts of up to 60 lbs

    • Shows initiative and follow-through
    • Excellent communication skills- able to coach, train and develop associates
    • Thinks outside of the box; searches for innovative solutions
    • Experience with Amazon’s Safety, Quality and Productivity goals
    • Demonstrates ownership through personal accountability

    • Detail oriented
    • Understanding of Print Operations processes and production management system
