    Amazon.com's Identity and Authentication team is recruiting a Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for driving the design and execution of a platform to support Identity and Access services for Amazon. You will drive IT projects across a variety of technologies and disciplines including the use of cloud computing technologies.

    In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering complex solutions, collecting product and business requirements, driving the development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to manage risk, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and client project teams. The position requires working closely with software development teams and internal business customers.

    Additionally, this TPM will be responsible for managing a number of programs involving multiple department and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include large-scale projects and initiatives that extend and enhance the experience for every Amazonian.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience)
    • 3+ years managing software/technology projects in a fast-paced development environments
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience building or integrating federated identity solutions using SAML, OAuth, or OpenID (Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services or similar)
    • Understanding of Identity Systems like LDAP and/or Active Directory
    • Experience with AWS platforms, services, and API’s.
    • Flexibility, thinking on your feet, and strong problem solving skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
