    The Cloud Acceleration team is invested in increasing the pace of AWS adoption, including large scale and complex migrations to AWS. We create automation to help customers move to AWS faster to realize the magic of AWS Cloud. Our solutions use native AWS services and high quality and innovative design that realize customer outcomes and model AWS design patterns that can be leveraged by our customers.
    As SDM for the team, you will lead technical vision and own our development process and services. You will drive high performance and long term growth in the team. You will mentor and coach a talented team of software developers. You will work on critical projects that significantly contribute to our customers and AWS.

    Basic Qualifications

    Basic qualifications
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
    • 10+ years of software development experience
    • 5+ years’ experience leading or managing software development team

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with AWS native development
    • Knowledge of large business applications – banking, accounting, CRM
    • Experience working with Enterprise IT teams
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
    • Deep hands on technical experience – coding, design and establishing platforms
    • Strong business and technical vision
    • Sound fundamentals in system and algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Agile development experience
    • A passion for customer experience
