    Job Overview
    Fabric.com is seeking a creative, analytical and strategic individual to create and execute a content strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and conversion. The Content & Social Media Manager has ownership of the digital editorial plan and content production, and is responsible for tracking content performance, directing continuous improvement, reach and engagement. Successful candidates will consistently create compelling storylines that bring our products closer to our customers. They will also possess a deep understanding of social media tactics and strategies along with experience in overall online marketing and advertising. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and be responsible for creating and executing strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across all channels of the business. Much of the content creation requires collaboration with other people, so s/he partners closely with internal stakeholder groups to meet specific production needs. Additionally, s/he has the organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous jobs, prioritizing and re-prioritizing fluidly while keeping a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

    Position Responsibilities:

    · Ownership of the digital editorial plan: lead the process of engaging with internal stakeholder groups to collect inputs, synthesize creative stories and expand upon, evaluate ideas and curate the yearly editorial plan with release calendar.
    · Develops and manages content for use across all channels.
    • Serve as the brand steward in the process of content planning and production.
    • Drive compelling multi-platform social strategy, designed to accomplish larger corporate objectives.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and time management.
    · Day-to-day owner for all social networks; including scheduling, optimizing and strategy.
    Basic Qualifications:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field required
    • BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field.
    • 3-7+ years of concentrated experience with digital marketing channels including social media; proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion
    • Multi-tasker who is well organized, with impeccable written and oral presentation skills
    • Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting and website analytics
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Creative thinker who can be both innovative while execution oriented
    • Understanding of Windows XP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer
    · Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
    · Knowledge in web analytical tools: Google, CoreMetrics, Omniture, etc.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ecommerce/Retail experience
    • Able to work in an ambiguous, 'internet-speed' environment
    • Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills
    · Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence management
    · High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    · Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
