Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) leverages Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network for third party sellers who want to grow their business on and off Amazon.com. FBA enables customers to take advantage of Free Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime on third party items, while allowing sellers to focus on selling rather than shipping.
The SWIVT (Seller and Warehouse Inventory Visibility Team) team works on business critical systems that provide inventory visibility to millions of sellers and hundreds of warehouses across the world. Our systems have direct impact on seller experience and warehouses all over world. Inventory follows complex path inside warehouses and goes through states of - received, sold, lost, found, damaged, trans-shipped between warehouses etc. We consume these inventory movements in real time at scale of thousands of TPS to build the final picture of inventory levels for sellers, allowing them to never go out of stock on Amazon.com. Similarly, we provide visibility to warehouses for incoming inventory from sellers to allow them to plan logistics to enable efficient receiving of inventory at warehouses.

We're going to face challenging and interesting problems. We're going to argue about how to solve them, and we'll work together to find a solution that is superior to each of the proposals we came in with.
