    We're looking for an outstanding Engineer who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.     Export Control License
    This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 5+ years professional experience in software development
    • Experience working with scientists delivering production level algorithmic code
    • Experience working with data and associated signal processing
    • Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
    • Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
    • Proficiency in C++ and Python

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience working in aerospace, robotics, or devices
    • Experience with hardware/software integration
    • Proficiency in Physics or Applied Mathematics
    • Knowledge of software engineering practices and patterns for full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
