AWS Marketplace helps customers find, buy, and immediately start using software and services that run on the AWS Cloud. Our job is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and fundamentally change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud. We have a long list of new ideas just waiting to be designed and implemented.
AWS Marketplace is looking for an experienced Program Leader to own the development, build, and launch of AWS Marketplace Channel Programs that would grow software revenue through Consulting Partners. Your responsibilities will include partnering with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners, and internal teams to build scalable incentive, enablement, and go-to-market programs that target Consulting Partners. The successful candidate will also be responsible for articulating/delivering the value proposition of the AWS Marketplace Channel Programs and coordinating with Product Management around engineering requirements.
Successful applicants will have a combination of program management, business development, and technical experience with ISVs and Consulting Partners, and a broad understanding of the software industry. You should have a track record of being a top-performing individual that is customer-centric, self-motivated, and have demonstrated experience in building and executing disruptive business models. This position has a high level of visibility, and you will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly both in your writing and through your presentation skills. We are a start-up within AWS so we wear many hats, work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent\
10+ years program management and/or business development experience.
Experience managing relationships with consulting and software companies.
Deep understanding of various ISV and Consulting partner business models.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts across broad audiences.
Solid understanding of Cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model.
MBA, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of eCommerce and/or cloud computing.
Prior experience working in the cloud based partner ecosystem.
