    Learn and Be Curious is a core principal of Amazon. The Americas SA Strategy, Operations and Readiness team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to develop and deliver learning programs that increases field productivity and learning to accelerate customer impact. We’re looking for highly organized entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of program ownership, and want to have fun while they make history.

    As Senior Program Manager, you will drive operational success of a new effort through initial launch and subsequent technical initiatives. You will nurture community engagement, manage stakeholder communication and build trust with our end users by establishing appropriate feedback mechanisms. Your programs will raise the bar on change management plans, metrics for success and risk management. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to evangelize new features, accelerate their adoption, and measure business impact. You will obsess over program flywheels and report status of initiatives to senior leadership.

    Successful candidates will have outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication strategies and be confident with executive level reviews. You will thrive in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical development teams. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Amazon’s strategic objectives. Successful candidates will also enjoy working with a mixed team of field leaders and managers to engage customers, set business strategy, and define clear schedules and learning priorities. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, aligning sponsors, and thinking long term.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BA/BS or BBA is required
    • 7+ years of program management experience with excellent program and project management skills, including work prioritization, planning, and task delegation
    • Experience delivering innovative learning programs that scale-up in an environment where priorities shift rapidly
    • Experience preparing and conducting presentations to cross-functional audiences, key stakeholders and executives
    • Experience using analytical and quantitative data and metrics
    • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives in a global, enterprise environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Deep analytical skills to derive insight and action from multiple data sources and tools such as Salesforce.com and Tableau, etc.
    • Excellent business judgment, with proven ability to influence others.
    • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting actionable insights to senior management.
    • Detail oriented and able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization.
    • Business judgment and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
