We are seeking experienced Hardware Design Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud server infrastructure.     As a member of the Silicon Optimization Team you’ll be responsible for the design and optimization of hardware in our data centers. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale server deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. You’ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve your products performance, quality and cost.     Responsibilities:

    • DDR/PCI-Express testing and productization.
    • Ownership for SoC HW post-silicon validation and system testing.
    • Define and Develop platform for the Post Silicon test process.
    • Responsible for silicon bring-up, debug, and device characterization.
    • Manage the ODM HW testing and be part of the Production flow definition team
    • Contribute to debug architecture to enable efficient debug of silicon.
    • Understand intended applications and stress systems from a customer perspective.

    Basic Qualifications


    • BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (EE / CE)
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience with High Speed Post Silicon design and testing
    • Validated hands-on lab experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug and high-speed lab tools/equipment.
    • Thermal design experience, familiar with cooling technologies and knowledge in power characterization.

    Preferred Qualifications


    • ability to lead Hardware projects
    • Experience with DDR Electrical characterization testing and production Qualification.
    • Experience with High Speed 25/50/100Gbps networking solutions
    • Define and Manage ODM
    • Experience in pre-silicon verification
    • CPU architecture experience
    • Experience with SI simulations
    • Designed low cost systems.
