The Search Design team invents and simplifies the shopping experience daily. We obsess over customer behavior and data to help us deliver customer innovation on a massive scale. We are building the cornerstone product search experience of modern ecommerce with the goal of changing the way people shop. Our work impacts millions of people daily and is a critical part of Amazon’s global business. Our team is growing and we’re looking for a passionate Senior Researcher who leads by doing, loves solving problems at massive scale and brings their best self to work everyday. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and implementing strategic, multi-method research programs and studies. You’ll work closely with design, PM and engineering. In this role you will be responsible for defining research priorities for studies, selecting the appropriate methods, and reporting your observations and findings to help ensure we make customer obsessed features. In this role you will create and manage study timelines, deliverables, and reporting to ensure we have the right data to create the best, most customer obsessed, product search on earth. This position is for a hands-on user researcher with end to end responsibility for creating, running, and reporting on research activities that influence features and deliver measurable impact.
