We’re working on the future. If you are seeking an iterative fast-paced environment where you can drive innovation, apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve extreme-scale real world challenges, and provide visible benefit to end-users, this is your opportunity.

Come work on the Amazon Prime Air team!

We're looking for an outstanding system integration engineer with experience in the bring-up, testing and analysis of safe, distributed aerial robotic systems. This person should be comfortable interfacing with engineers and managers across multiple functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and mechatronics, with specific focus in real-time applications, electronic sensors and actuators as they relate to aerospace systems.

This position is a great fit for the ‘curious’ engineer who thrives in ambiguous environments and loves learning about new systems and technology.

Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

    • Strong cross-disciplinary background with basic competency in mechanics, heat transfer, power systems and analog signals
    • Strong proficiency analyzing digital signal protocols using standard hardware and custom software tooling
    • Experience developing written integration and test plans for complex systems

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
    • Proficiency in bare-metal embedded design principles including memory management, build systems and I/O devices
    • Demonstrated history of leading and delivering results on complex electromechanical design projects
    • Proficiency with scaling and automation tooling in system integration and test
