One of our teams leading the growth is the IMDb Advertising team, which is responsible for the largest revenue stream of the organization. As we grow, the IMDb Advertising team is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to help develop and build our unique advertising products.
This position will work deeply with engineering teams on the design, implementation, and drive the delivery of large technology initiatives across teams at IMDb and Amazon. As a Sr. TPM, your focus will be to drive operational excellence across large architectures and engineering efficiency by reducing dependencies and bottlenecks. To be effective, a Sr. TPM needs to understand system and architecture design approaches to ensure technologies deliver scale and perform appropriately end-to-end in this role. You also need to be an excellent translator between various parts of the business and the technical teams you work with. Above all, you should also be a person who enjoys learning and contributing to aspects about the business, legal, or marketing side of a product.
5+ years of experience defining product/program requirements for engineering teams
3+ years of product/program experience related to advertising or consumer facing industry
3+ years of experience in a technical role
Experience holding an engineering team to a high standard for both solutions and engineering practices
Experience negotiating resources and priorities while building processes and release schedules
Understanding of system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and/or the reasons for architectural decisions
Have worked across organizations and have influenced external customers, partners, system owners, and/or architectures
Comfortable with system design and an understanding of web and app development
Proven to be clear and concise in both verbal and written communication
Have mentored or developed others
Has engineering or software development background
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
