Selling Partner Insights and Engagement (SPIE) delivers core experiences for Vendors and Sellers on Amazon marketplaces worldwide, including the Seller Central Homepage, Selling Coach, and Business Advisor. We are looking for a strong engineer who can drive development of tools and platforms to accelerate delivery of ML solutions across Selling Partner Services. We have the first pieces in place, but need your expertise to turn these components in to a state-of-the-art ML production platform and integrate with best-in-class components such as Dryad and SageMaker. You’ll work directly with Applied Scientists and business partners, and be involved in design and development of ML models end-to-end. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your SDE skills to build meaningful applications, while building your depth of knowledge in ML and Data Science.
Product development experience (including C++, Java, XML, messaging protocols, and Web Services)
Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules
5+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical product management in a software applications environment.
Demonstrated track record across numerous enterprise wide programs.
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
Masters degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
