Amazon’s Global Security Academy (GSA) is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and determined Evaluation Specialist. The role will support the continued growth and success of GSA by focusing on the validity and reliability of assessment instruments, refinement of evaluation methodologies, as well as articulating program impact by measuring on-the-job performance of participants and correlating program results to business outcomes. She/he will help champion the customer experience by building out models to support analyses and reporting on key customer experience metrics.
The Evaluation Specialist should advocate for data-driven decision making, be uncompromisingly detail oriented, a self-starter, efficient, and be driven to help the program succeed. The ability to understand business goals and use available data to measure the success of the program against these goals is essential.

We accomplish this through focused content curation, creative storytelling, advocating for innovative solutions, and demonstrating impact in everything we do.
─ Work with program managers, program participants, and stakeholders to determine the metrics, reports, and analyses needed to manage and act on program performance
─ Design, architect, implement, and support assessment instruments and evaluation methodologies that provide structured and timely access to program performance data
─ Retrieve and analyze data using our Learning Management System, Human Resource Information System, SQL, Excel, and other data and information management systems
─ Evaluate and implement process and system improvement opportunities
─ Develop queries for ad hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting
─ Partner with customers and stakeholders to answer key business questions
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
─ Experience designing surveys and analyzing customer feedback
─ Experience with multi-variable statistics
─ Experience identifying and analyzing repeatable correlations
─ Excellent communicator (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
