    We're looking for an outstanding engineering leader who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done. You will be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with research and operations teams.     This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

    Basic Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with significant software emphasis
    · 6+ years of industry experience
    · Experience with C++, and Python
    · Experience with hardware, sensors and software integration with real-time operation
    · 4+ years of management experience
    · Demonstrated leadership responsibility for delivery of a technically demanding product, in a team environment
    · Design and architecture knowledge as well as familiarity with object oriented design patterns
    · Experience taking a project from scoping requirements through actual launch and SLA-driven operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related engineering discipline
    · Experience camera/sensor drivers and data collection systems
    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
    · Excellent judgment, organizational and problem solving skills
    · Project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling and executing on committed schedules
    · Proven success in building, motivating and retaining teams of star players
    · Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery as an individual contributor and leader
