    Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a service for self-publishing books to the Amazon Kindle store. As a Salesforce.com CRM Administrator and Developer, you will be a direct point of contact for multiple user groups and global teams who require development, maintenance, configuration, advanced reporting and training. You will work directly with the system/data, lead multiple technical projects or portions at one time, as well as provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform. You will also drive automation of processes, and manage the integrations to our various business systems for our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment including the Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and the Marketing Cloud. This includes technical design, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other Amazon databases/systems.

    Basic Qualifications

      • Minimum 1+ years experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
      • Minimum 2+ year experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
      • Minimum 2+ years experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript
      • Minimum 4+ years of experience developing in Apex and/or Lightning Platform.
      • Minimum 4+ years of SOQL database language experience.
      • Minimum 4+ years previous development experience with Salesforce.com
      • Minimum 1+ years experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
      • Minimum 1+ years experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers
      • Minimum 1+ years experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
      • Minimum 1+ years experience with advanced security configuration of the force.com platform
      • Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field and experience
    • 1+ years experience Technical Project Management experience.
    • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
    • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Force.com
    • Experience developing specifically for service cloud and lightning communities
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies
    • Results-oriented individual with a focus on delivery a high bar and strong organization skills
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
    • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
    • Experience managing, triaging and resolving user submitted issues via ticketing system(s)
    • Advanced Excel skills (Macro, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
    • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
    • Highly inventive, flexible and self-directed
    • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
