    At Amazon, we’re working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. Our FinTech team is hiring a Sr. Product Manager – Technical who will own our intra-month financial reporting platform. You will partner with global Accounting teams to understand requirement, and with Amazon developers to design, build, and launch products that scale with Amazon's growth in size and complexity.

    You will provide product leadership, quantify the impact of product features, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will work closely with stakeholders across various design, development, finance and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long term product roadmaps.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
    · Act as the interface between customers and the software development teams. Understand the product and know the right questions and whom to ask.
    · Work with customers to define business problems and requirements and work with technical teams to scope technical software projects.
    · Build and maintain a complete functional and technical roadmap, make it constantly visible to management and key stakeholders, and drive projects through to completion.
    · Help make the right feature trade-offs to ship software without compromising customer experience or business relevance.

    Basic Qualifications

    · 8+ years product management and/or business leadership experience in technology context
    · Experience delivering features on large scale software applications and backend systems
    · Sufficient technical acumen to articulate a long-term technical vision
    · Ability to participate in software design and uphold a high standard for product solutions
    · Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and delivering quality releases on schedule
    · Strong ability to build relationships across external groups to gain consensus on moving towards goals
    · Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, attention to detail, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, and ability to multitask

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience delivering analytical products for finance professionals
    · Finance and/or Accounting experience
    · Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
