    AWS AI is looking for a senior technical program manager to drive future iterations of AWS Deep Lens, the first deep learning enabled video camera for developers, and additional new AI-focused products and services.
    In this role as a Senior TPM on the Deep Lens team, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff at AWS and external partners to bring innovative new AI products and services to market. This position requires excellent leadership skills, strong technical expertise, and hands-on project management skills.

    Key Repsonsibilities:
    • Work with key stakeholders in product management and engineering to ensure requirements are translated into actionable roadmaps
    • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs against developer experience and time to market

    • Drive engineering and integration decisions and timelines across multiple teams and organizations
    • Establish business processes and policies, as well as metrics and indicators for success
    • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
    • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet business goals

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical program/project management in a consumer electronics environment
    • Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets
    • Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection
    • Familiarity with HW and SW development processes and milestones, including waterfall and agile methodologies
    • Must have been involved with the launch of previous consumer- or developer-focused hardware devices

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree or advanced technical degree
    • Creative leader with superior analytical abilities
    • Product development (including C++, Java, messaging protocols, and Web Services), and service-oriented architecture experience
    • Experience with hardware development process and lifecycle
    • Experience working with contract manufacturers or ODMs
