IMDb is going BIG on video and we are looking for engineers as part of our core video team. You’ll be part of a full-stack team working on building intuitive video experiences that engage and delight IMDb customers. You will get your hands on lots of technologies, designs and implementation of new scalable services, and also have the opportunity to do work on data analysis, machine learning, and large scale systems. Video is a new investment for IMDb and a long-term strategic play, so there’s a big opportunity for you to have a major, lasting impact to both our technology and our business.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years relevant industry experience
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Master's degree in Computer Science
Experience building complex software that have multiple dependency systems
Practical experience writing large scale web applications including architectural decisions, frameworks and implementation
Experience of systems architecture, loosely coupled and distributed systems for massive scale
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
