    The Role:

    The Sr. Operations Program Manager will assist the leadership team within Global Operations Support (GOS) in defining and deploying strategic initiatives leading to optimization of operational efficiencies within Supply Chain Planning, IT, Business Intelligence, Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics, Preowned Business and Trade In. This role leverages all functional areas across GOS and Lab126 and will balance a mix of strategic, programmatic, and operational responsibilities in support of Amazon Lab126’s Global Operations Support organization. The individual will be persuasive, diplomatic, and have proven communication skills. In this role, you will:
    • Define, align and deploy strategic initiatives and goals to all functional teams within GOS using proven strategy deployment processes
    • Implement, ensure compliance, and refine the management system responsible for setting and meeting organizational goals
    • Drive the business planning process within the GOS team (3 YP, OP1, OP2)
    • Manage staff meeting agenda and ensure closure of action items
    • Act as the primary conduit for Finance for headcount management
    • Benchmark and incorporate industry best practices within the GOS team
    • Travel as required to accomplish business needs and objectives

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of experience in operations or logistics
    • Experience partnering effectively with different operational support teams
    • Demonstrated experience with the use data analytics and KPIs to drive improvements to the bottom line
    • Experience developing presentations and whitepapers and influencing and working with peers, stakeholders, customers, suppliers and partners

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master Level or greater level of education
    • 10+ years of experience in operations or logistics
    • Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas
