    Today, Amazon WorkDocs is a simple, secure and cheap AWS cloud-based document and files management service. It enables secure access to documents from anywhere, on any device and helps users find, share, and collaborate on documents. Going forward, we have big plans for transforming this service as a home for conversations, collaboration, and activity surrounding user/team/organization documents. To enable our vision we are looking for a Principal Product Manager – Technical to join our team.

We are seeking an individual with such traits along with strong product management experience in online products or services preferably in enterprise productivity space. This is an opportunity to be part of a start-up team in AWS that promises to go big.

    As a Senior Product Manager- Technical, you will own all aspects of your portfolio, from strategy to features to user experience to operational excellence. You will frequently work directly with your customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective. You will be responsible for defining customer focused feature sets, identifying bold bets and plans to grow the business globally. Your job responsibility will also include diving deep into customer usage and adoption signals, service metrics, building business and pricing models, representing WorkDocs to customers and senior leadership, and being the overall business owner of the product. As a product leader, you will have the autonomy, ownership, and responsibility to invent on behalf of enterprise customers and to deliver new products, features, and competitive strategies that meet your customers’ rapidly expanding needs

    Role Objectives

    · Work with enterprise customers to understand their use cases and their existing productivity problem sets and solutions.
    · Drive feature development and prioritization of the product roadmap
    · Work closely with the engineering to set strategy, define the product, and make the hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market.
    · Perform analysis needed for a complete business model, including financial (P&L) models, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing analysis, etc. Complete product management analysis and artifacts, including market requirements, feature roadmap, and customer experience artifacts.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science or a related engineering field
    • 6+ years product management experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA preferred
    • Possess deep industry understanding and be conversant with enterprise productivity applications
    • Exemplary history of connecting customer needs to technical solutions
    • Have a strong track record of shaping business strategy and leading product teams in building online services
    • Have delivered results with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
