    AWS is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to support Well-Architected across EMEA. The BDM will be responsible for jointly building and deploying effective and targeted initiatives to accelerate broad-based adoption of AWS design best-practice. The BDM will work closely with AWS business development, sales, marketing, and partner teams to position the AWS Well-Architected partner-led services for customers and partners, and provide guidance on the value proposition and benefit those customers and partners can achieve with our services, platforms, frameworks, and infrastructure. Also, the BDM will define and drive a process that the organization will follow to accelerate sales and partner-management engagement on Well-Architected partner opportunities.




    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent exp
    • Must have 3+ years Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
    • 8+ years in business development, strategy consulting, sales, vendor management, account management and interaction with large Enterprises and Enterprise partners
    • Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise go-to-market programs
    • Experienced with market analysis, deal negotiation and construction, business operations, and a background that enables them to create scalable programs that apply holistic approaches to selling to Enterprises and Enterprise partners
    • A proven track record of leading and driving multiple complex programs to meet business objectives and a demonstrated ability to translate strategic initiatives into detailed operation plans

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or Master s Degree in a related field
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated and effective within distributed teams with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
    • Experience effectively communicating the benefits of Well-Architected, platforms and frameworks in the AWS cloud to IT architects, engineering teams, and C-Level executives
    • Solution Architect - Associate Certification
    • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently, ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial
