    Sr. Product Manager- Customer Experience, Offline Direct Retail
    Amazon.com is seeking a results orientated product manager to invent, shape and execute customer experience innovation in the Amazon Pop-Up Retail Stores. Our stores feature popular Amazon devices like Echo, Fire TV and Kindle along with a curated selection of Alexa compatible branded accessories, in a highly experiential retail format. We currently have stores located in premium shopping malls, and within Kohl’s and Whole Foods, in 18 states.
    This leader will manage the device go-to-market (GTM) process for the Pop-Ups while owning the overall in-store device experience. Within the GTM role they will manage new product launches and merchandising tests.. As the owner of the customer experience they will collaborate with device product management, vendors and store operations to develop and launch compelling in-store device experience stories and demos.

    The ideal candidate will index high on customer obsession, with a creative verve and ability to think big about how the store experience should evolve. They should be a dynamic leader that can balance strategy with disciplined execution. S/he will be an excellent manager with the ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with product management, design, construction and retail operations teams. The successful candidate will need to be a smart risk taker who can deliver big ideas that will continually improve the customer experience and financial productivity of the Amazon Pop-Ups.

    Agility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is to collaborate, learn, achieve results and have fun doing it. The role will include approximately 10% travel, visiting Pop-Up stores, vendor meetings and attending trade shows as needed.

    Primary responsibilities

    -Own Pop-Up in-store demo experience for Amazon devices, branded Alexa certified smart home accessories, and relevant Amazon services, including creating product demonstration scenarios, demo fixture and security solutions, and store launch guides.
    -Manage go-to-market process for major merchandising events, including new formats, new products and store resets. Currently this would include being the owner of the merchandising team playbook project management tool and managing weekly onboarding and status review meetings.
    - Manage the development, execution and testing of merchandising innovation and new format tests.

    - Own Pop-Up customer experience lab.
    - Role will include regular visits to kiosks and support of store resets and tests.

    Basic Qualifications

    -5+ years offline retail experience in buying, merchandising and/or store operations.
    -Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects across functional teams, including technical, engineering, marketing, design and merchandising teams.

    -2+ years analyzing category performance data to drive recommendations and business actions.
    - Experience with Excel using formulas, charts and pivot tables.
    -BA/BS

    Preferred Qualifications

    -Strong leader with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with and influence all levels across Amazon.
    -MBA is preferred.
    -Consumer electronics experience preferred.
    -Experience with project management a plus.
