Responsibilities - Candidate must have to ability to create and clearly communicate complex demand/supply forecasts (inputs, outputs, rationale, gaps) with recommendations to senior management. - Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies. - Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of the supply chain activities. - Develop new analytical models for demand/supply forecasts based on segmented supply chain solutions. - Execute strategic business objectives while working with key internal stakeholders to improve the supply chain supply with the latest internal and external information. - Prepare and give detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on continuity of good supply of standard and custom components with associated impacts. – Ownership of detailed costed bill of material (BOM) – Drive strategic BOM reviews and qualifications with internal teams – Roadmap communications to cross functional teams – Determine customer needs - GAP analysis of needs versus deliverables

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Business or other related quantitative discipline - 5+ years of years of relevant work experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, manufacturing, finance or related field
- Experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global component sourcing procurement and supply chain strategies - Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer - Advanced knowledge of global component supply chain - 5 +years professional experience (in high technology or consumer electronics) - MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, logistics, mathematics or other quantitative disciplines - Experience with supply chain modeling and other statistical analysis tools - Advanced knowledge of data center products and their global supply chains · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
