AWS Partners include the largest consulting partners, systems integrators, MSPs, technology partners, ISVs, and distributors that are using AWS as their cloud delivery platform. The AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program provides business, technical and enablement benefits to AWS Partners who have deep expertise across the AWS platform, and who use that knowledge to provide guidance to customers through the entire next generation MSP engagement lifecycle: plan/design >> build/migrate >> run >> optimize.

As the AWS MSP Technical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing and developing the AWS MSP Partner community globally. You will work cross-functionally with AWS teams around the world to define, execute and manage activities that will ultimately drive maturity and enablement within this community, program participation, and revenue.

− Be the partner ecosystem subject-matter expert (SME) for this segment, including a knowledge of leading partners that are critical to customer success in each global region and market segment
− Own the strategic MSP ecosystem development plan, supporting the MSP Program by evangelizing and enabling in-region sales and partner teams to drive recruitment, revenue, and overall market adoption
− Work with cross functional groups (including training, solutions architecture, service teams, and segment teams) to build enablement programs that allow partners to develop capabilities that align the AWS MSP Partner Program.
− Serve as a key member of the AWS Partner Network team to define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy for AWS MSP Partners
− Drive next –gen managed services education and enablement for AWS sales and partner teams, APN Partners, and AWS Customers
− Engage with AWS service and segment teams to drive specialization and maturity within the AWS MSP community and deliver customer wins
− Deliver technical and business benefits for AWS MSP Program Partners
− Contribute to strategy and direction for the AWS MSP Partner Program, ensuring a high quality bar that benefits both MSP Partners and AWS Customers
− Recruit and develop potential MSP Partners globally and own a revenue goal related to MSP growth
− Own, track, and report on key performance metrics for AWS leadership
− Create positioning, messaging, web content, whitepapers, case studies and technical documentation in conjunction with the APN team, partner marketing and solution architects

Basic Qualifications

− 7+ years business development experience required
− Bachelor’s degree required, technical or business degrees preferred
− Must be highly entrepreneurial and a self-starter
− Knowledge of the cloud SI provider, MSP, and/or hosting space
− Understanding of managed services and related AWS offerings
− High level of technical acumen
− Proven track record for bias for action, execution and delivering results
− Experience with out-of-the-box and strategic thinking
− Excellent written and verbal communication skills
− Strong experience working cross-functionally in an organization

Preferred Qualifications

− MBA, Technical degree, or equivalent
− Partner ecosystem and program experience
