    We want to help our customers build cloud native applications, and adopt new ways of thinking about technology solutions. We are building an information rich product that uses advanced tooling to deliver the right content and advice to customers as they build and operate their workloads on AWS. You will enjoy the opportunities in this role if you like working with partners and helping them with their adoption and execution of this solution with end customers.

    You will be a core member of the partner team. This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working for or with a global systems integrator, a large IT consulting firm, or a Fortune 1000 company. In this role, you will be involved in various programs around the AWS Well Architected Framework. Working with these large partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should be just as comfortable talking storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure or continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. If you are a problem solver with broad technical skills, and have the ability to drive technical conversations you will enjoy this role.

    In this role, you will take part in delivering the Well Architected Framework Workshop to various partners as well as to internal stake holders. You will provide leadership for the technical relationship once the partner becomes certified on the framework. You will develop, improve, and execute multi-day workshops, lead white boarding sessions, and respond to inquiries while the partner is ramping up on the Well Architected Framework. You will have the opportunity to dive deep on our Amazon Web Services technologies and will work side by side with some of the top technical talent in the industry. Location can be in NYC, Herndon, VA or Atlanta, GA.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    · Technical leader and trusted adviser in the area of cloud computing for our partners
    - Global role requiring 50% travel - 20 to 40% domestic and 10% international.
    · Own the technical relationship and deliverables for the global and national system integrators
    · Assist global and national system integrators earn the trust of customers by delivering Amazon Well Architected Framework workshops, lead white boarding sessions, executing on the roll out of the program
    · Demonstrate a bias for action and technical skills by working with the partners in the program to be leaders in the cloud
    · Assist partners on diving deep on AWS Services as they develop presentations from the Well Architected Reviews
    · Exhibit a combination of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep AWS technical skills
    Assist partners in the use of the AWS Well Architected tools

    Basic Qualifications


    · AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level (or Professional Level certification)
    - Strong presentation and written communication skills; high degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences.
    - 5+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications
    - 3+ years experience in networking; infrastructure or database architecture
    · Knowledge and expertise in the five pillars of the Amazon Well Architected Framework
    · Strong understanding of AWS solutions: compute, databases, analytics, big data, IoT, enterprise applications, security, networking, data encryption, storage, devops, and application development
    · Passion for technology with experience within the last three years in networking, security, database administration or development, application development, or system administration
    · Past experience leading white boarding sessions and delivering multi-day workshops to architects, operations staff, developers, and cloud technologist
    Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and act tactically, about business, product, and technical challenges
    Technical breadth and depth:
    · Technology Breadth: Demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
    · Technology Depth: Demonstrate detailed knowledge of concepts, implementation, patterns, and issues of at least four technology areas
    · Exhibit the attributes of learn and be curious by demonstrating the ability to quickly assimilate information about new technologies and business models
    · Passion for working with global and national systems integrators
    · Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10 or more years of related experience
    - Must be able to legally live and work in the US. Student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable for this role

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Cloud and/or AWS experience; AWS Certifications (or higher) - AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level, Optional Certifications - AWS Certified Developer - Associate Level, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate Level
    · Microsoft or Google hands on experience or certifications
    · Experience working with/for Global and National Systems Integrators and knowing the market landscape
    · Use of AWS services in distributed environments with Enterprise Software
    · Advanced degrees in engineering and/or business or equivalent experience
