Job Description

Develop and scale the Photos product/UI language across platforms and devices. Work with Designers, PM, Marketing, and Dev’s in Photos to help drive the creation of a common visual language and pattern library across the device ecosystem.

Your primary role will be to design visually compelling and beautiful user interfaces that scale across contexts and customers. As someone with a fluency in visual communication, you understand how and when to apply varying levels of detail and fidelity in your work. You’ll collaborate with other internal stakeholders to provide iterative design solutions from low to detailed specs and red-lines. You will help contribute and build a cohesive product brand experience across multiple platforms—including desktop, web, mobile, tablet, TV.

Basic Qualifications

  • A stellar portfolio of work demonstrating mastery in creating effective user-centered design solutions with measurable results.
  • Strong aesthetic skill with demonstrable work examples
  • Superior communication skills; ability to listen, present, and sell through ideas
  • Self starter with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the hard work required to solve creative challenges preferred
  • Working knowledge of User Centered Design Principles and Practices
  • Proven mastery of working within a cross-team environment
  • Strong ability to synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing for rich enterprise or productivity based software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies and practices.
