Amazon Publishing is the full-service publishing arm of Amazon. Our mission is to invent new and better ways to connect authors and readers.

The Amazon Publishing team is looking for a results-oriented EU (Europe) Production Coordinator to support delivery of process and tools for the production of Amazon Publishing titles, aimed to improve Production Management team efficiency and to optimize scheduling and task prioritization.
The EU Production Coordinator will support the international production team in the creation of its physical and e-books in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be well-organized and metrics-driven, with a strong bias for action. The role will work with a global team and it could include limited travel expectations.

The position will also have daily contact with title content and metadata, and will handle uploading, troubleshooting, and processing metadata and book files through Amazon's internal systems.

This position works with operations to ensure our books deliver the highest quality levels. Additional responsibilities include:
• Manage daily quality reports, addressing quality issues and support the team in the quality analysis.
• Support the creation of reporting for all phases of book production from content receipt to onsite availability.
• Ingesting and archiving files using internal systems.
This position will work from the Brilliance Publishing offices in Grand Haven, Michigan

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, English Literature, Marketing or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Functional knowledge in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word. For Excel, this includes an understanding of formatting, PivotTables, cross tabs, and advanced formulas.
• 1+ year experience in project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large data sets.
• Experience with publishing operations in a global environment.
• Fluency in one of the following languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and evaluate ideas with technical employees.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify, investigate, and solve end-user experience, workflow process, and software system problems. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to address multiple tasks and requests at once and to prioritize work effectively.
