This role requires demonstrated experience in building, managing and measuring strategic plans and driving complex tasks and projects in the Human Resources (HR) and Workplace Ops (WPO) businesses. Successful candidates for this position will have strong organizational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders along with a good understanding of how Human Resources and Workplace Operations provide the foundation for Audible’s success. As TA, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall global HR/WPO strategy and executing tactical day to day tasks. The HR TA will be a trusted advisor, truth teller and be able to handle the most delicate, confidential projects.

This person must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous projects impacting a global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills. Data and report design skills would be a bonus.

  • Contribute to and support the development of Audible’s HR & Workplace Ops Strategies.
  • Create project plans for all key strategic initiatives and track key metrics to assure they are being accomplished.
  • General advisor to CPO tracking all HC reports, Workforce statistics, HR & Workplace Ops budgets; and create and track project plans for each department and key projects and highlighting areas that require proactive attention.
  • Problem solve real time and help CPO follow-up on and make sure things are repaired quickly making sure the right people are engaged and involved.
  • Work closely with Executive Assistant to prioritize meetings and provide prep for key meetings and ALLOFUS presentations advance.
  • Assure key information gets to the CPO in an optimal format at the right time to prep for meetings and presentations.
  • Drive special project related activities and trouble shoot with discretion.
  • Draft and support strategic correspondence and presentations to S-team and other senior groups.
  • In conjunction with HRBPs and COES, coordinate and support rollouts of key HR and Workplace Ops initiatives in/across all Audible locations.
  • Drive the design and execution of HR/WPO strategy and innovation offsite sessions - including communication, cadence and planning.
  • Provide support to Finance and Corporate Communications and serve as proxy for CPO in key meetings.
  • Identify and facilitate best practice learnings and common challenges/goals across international offices.
  • Drive engagement and coordination with external organizations (e.g. search firms, vendors).
  • Serve as trusted resource and thought partner for CPO for key strategic work and participates in strategy sessions with CPO – contributor and learning opportunity.
  • Identify key areas of process and efficiency improvement across International (and between International and HQ), and as needed, within specific country level operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Professional degree.
  • 7+ years professional experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and ideas in a non-technical, simple manner across different levels and geographies of an organization.
  • Proven success in Chief of Staff role or in HR or Workplace Ops departements
  • Resourceful self-starter with an independent attitude and focus on excellence.
  • High proactivity and high comfort with ambiguity.
  • High levels of curiosity/passion for learning about new products/people/markets.
  • Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment across a wide range of cultures.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills are also required along with the ability to work with cross-functional teams under aggressive deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or similar Masters degree.
  • P&L experience a plus.
  • Solid understanding of HR and/ or Corporate Real Estate.
