Amazon Publishing is the full-service publishing arm of Amazon. Our mission is to invent new and better ways to connect authors and readers.

The team is looking for a results-oriented Production Catalog Coordinator to reinforce delivery of processes and tools for the production of Amazon Publishing titles, aimed to improve and optimize the efficiency of the European Production Management Team. The role will work with a global team and it could include limited travel expectations.

The Production Catalog Coordinator will support the international production team in the creation of its physical and e-books while working with operations teams to ensure our books are published on schedule and at the highest quality levels. The successful candidate will be well-organized, metrics-driven, and able to act independently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will also have daily contact with title content and metadata, and will handle uploading, troubleshooting, and processing metadata and book files through Amazon's internal systems.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Overseeing and tracking day-to-day production workflows, ensuring processes are documented, efficient, and that books are produced at the highest quality.
• Support the creation of reporting for all phases of book production from receipt of content to onsite availability.
• Ingesting and archiving files using internal systems.

This position will be work at the Brilliance Publishing offices located in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, English Literature, Marketing or equivalent experience in the industry
• Functional knowledge in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word. For Excel, this includes an understanding of formatting, PivotTables, cross tabs, and advanced formulas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in data mining, data management and reporting.
• Experience with Salesforce software.
• Experience with publishing operations.
• Fluency in one of the following languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and evaluate ideas with technical employees.
• Ability to provide examples of complex projects that have been managed using individual judgement, tracking and effective communication mechanisms.
