Amazon.com's performance advertising Analytics and data management team is looking for a technical program manager to lead the design and development of the Company’s Self-Service Advertising Products.

You have a relentlessly high quality bar and obsess over scaling the program vs. simply executing. Specific responsibilities include:

Influence and work with a large cross functional team that includes both technical and non-technical members. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead programs that span multiple products working with tech and non-tech teams.

Regular communication with management on roadmaps, program updates, risks, and change management. Establish key metrics and reporting of the programs you lead with the help of your team. Take charge of the high visibility program simplifying and streamlining the objective status reporting to executive and principal leadership team.

Work closely with the Product management and business teams to manage the intake/planning against ongoing commitment of the broader platform development team. Drive product launches including working with product management, program management, development, marketing, solutions architect and operations teams across the advertising organization.


Basic Qualifications

Key responsibilities:
· Lead cross-program analyses of performance and delivery outcomes across engineering, Data engineering, ML and DBA’s.
· Own client success metrics globally; design and drive a process of continual improvement of how we measure & drive success for customers.
· Partner with the Data Science & Ad Server teams to develop the roadmap of optimization & delivery capabilities across channels and businesses, ad programs, goal types and customer types.
· Partner with the leadership, finance, economists, analysts, and BI partners to develop provide a continuous feedback loop for observed trends for performing & non-performing paths, and provide recommendations on new opportunities.
· Own test & learn roadmap via optimization experimentation within a structured environment to evaluate hypotheses, test methodology & setup, analyses and business impact to drive long term solutions via platform automation and/or algorithmic development.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master’s degree.
10+ years of experience creating and managing programs end to end.
Excellent program management, problem-solving, automation, and operational excellence skills.
Passion for creating innovative solutions for customers.
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs

Project/Program Management or Agile Certification
