The Region Services organization is looking for an experienced Windows Infrastructure Manager with a strong Windows-focused infrastructure, operational ownership, and systems background in support of the US Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The Corporate Systems team mission is to deliver robust, highly available, and easy to use services to our internal customers across the global enterprise. We are looking for a Systems Manager who is an expert in deep-dive understanding of the Windows Operating System, with a focus on automation, high availability and remote managed services. Those services include but are not limited to Identity and Authentication, Active Directory, Network, Email, Client Platforms, Server Platforms, Patch management and compliance. We are using AWS to evolve traditional Enterprise IT tools and services at a large scale – if you are passionate about AWS and have experience with large-scale Enterprise systems, keep reading.
In this role, you will build and support the tools and services that move our Windows-based systems in to the infrastructure-as-code age, enable self-healing for our systems, and provide capabilities that enable other Amazon service owners to do the same. You will use AWS services and DevOps patterns to launch and operate the next generation of Windows based management tools.

Building, motivating, and mentoring a world-class systems & software engineering team is the most important part of this role. You should have a proven track record in recruiting and retaining top talent and excel in day-to-day people and performance management tasks. Have a strong understanding of Windows Infrastructure and Networking Technologies.
The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems or software development engineer. You will also have a strong level of knowledge in Windows systems, Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, and SCOM. You will enjoy keeping your technical skills reasonably current, to the point that you can still contribute to architecture discussions. You regularly take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises and drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues. Have strong project & product management experience.
The successful candidate will create roadmaps for the team. This will include helping innovate and invent new value-add services layered on top of our existing services. You will need excellent technical project management skills to deliver product roadmap items as well as other cross-team projects. Experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage. Know how to run a tight, lean, efficient operation.
