Sponsored Products is Amazon's native advertising solution (run a search in Amazon and try to spot our sponsored native ads alongside with the organic results). Sponsored Products uses automatic and keyword targeting capabilities to give merchants control over product merchandising on Amazon by boosting the visibility of products when customers shop. Merchants can access the platform via self service capabilities and only pay when shoppers click on the ads. Even though this product started in 2012, it is growing rapidly and it has the potential of eventually becoming as large as other established CPC advertising publishers. We are looking for an outstanding technical program manager to lead the integration of Sponsored Products with Amazon Marketing Channels. This involves partnering with key teams that own real estate on Amazon and off-amazon, creating APIs that allow to connect advertising and retail systems, building services for publishers to self-serve creation of new placements and creating metrics and incentives mechanisms to allow publishers to make the right tradeoff decisions. This involves not only building the right technology solution but also having communications skills to convince partners to engage with our team. As peers to Engineering Managers and Product Managers, TPM contributes to planning, negotiating cross-team dependencies, representing the voice of the customer.
