Combining a startup atmosphere with the ambition to build cutting-edge foundations for deeply connected gaming experiences, the game teams at AGS Orange County are seeking for a Production Director to organize, focus and unlock their productivity and creative potential

Responsibilities
  • Inspire your team with a quality-oriented approach to game project management.
  • Hire and develop a strong and highly effective cross-functional team.
  • Lead an organization of engineers, artists and designers responsible for the development of game technologies, tools and creative content.
  • Create development methodologies, tools, project plans and commitments for yourself and your team, then deliver consistently against those commitments.
  • Work with internal and external teams to influence and align goals, roadmaps and reliable execution.
  • Be a champion for gamers: Build games that thrill and entertain our players and constantly create new ways to delight customers.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality games with high level of development complexity

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in creative content production
  • 7+ years of large-scale creative content production experience in a leadership capacity
  • Distinguished track record of managing complex and innovative production pipelines
  • Great communication skills and ability to work effectively on shared projects with artists, designers, testers, engineers, and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong game industry experience (7+ years) working on large-scale, commercial games
  • Multiple shipped titles, including AAA console or PC titles
  • Managed the engineering or execution of a medium to large game team
  • Specialized skills in a particular area of game development (e.g. multiplayer, business intelligence, monetization)
  • Experience building and running live game(s)
