Position Responsibilities:
  • Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers
  • Providing vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
  • Tracking and reporting of labor hours
  • Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying process compliance
  • Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
  • Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals
  • Assisting in process creation, reviewing and updating training documentation as required
  • Filling in as needed with production duties
  • Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area while participating in safety initiatives
  • Coaching associates to work safety at all times while referring all job injuries immediately to a manager

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates must be in good standing
  • Ability to work flexible shifts/schedules/areas
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Continued meeting or exceeding of department performance goals
  • Work proficiently in Sage, ObjectWare, FWMS, Microsoft Office
  • At least one year of lead/supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, and/or prior experience managing employees
  • Have an A-Z business understanding (Inbound, Outbound, IC/QA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work in an ambiguous, 'internet-speed' environment
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills with all levels of Fabric associates and managers
  • Respect from associates in production area
  • A willingness to use process improvement tools and techniques
  • 2+ years experience working with fabric
  • Experience implementing process improvements
