As a Game Build Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving the foundational process systems and development backbone. You will work directly with people in all areas of the development team, creating solutions to problems that you have uncovered and having a huge positive impact on team productivity.

  • Process engineering and re-engineering for multiple production environments, used for development, testing, and deployment of builds
  • Increase team velocity by through tool development and automation
  • Improve the reliability of our tools and build processes
  • Monitor, measure, and improve system stability and developer iteration time

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience or background in C++ Tools and Release Engineering
  • 3+ years experience in programming
  • Experience setting up and/or maintaining automated build pipeline
  • Experience using scripting languages and automation to create end to end solutions
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices and build systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • A passion for video games
  • Game industry experience working on PC games
  • Strong communication skills across different teams and technical backgrounds
  • Experience working with Perforce, WAF, Windows build tools, Jenkins, and Visual Studio
  • Python scripting experience
